Walk for Jack Russell Terrier Rescue Ontario

5th Annual Purina RESCUE ME WALK-A-THON is on Sunday, June 8, in Toronto. The event will benefit all participating Canine Rescue Groups in Ontario. The Rescue Me Walk-a-thon runs in conjunction with Woofstock, A (massive!) Festival for Dogs! JRT Rescue has been participating in this event since its inception. It is a fabulous event for everyone and their dogs! The Pledge Form with all the information is attached. All donations of $25.00 or more receive a tax receipt, so if you have been holding off on making a donation to the Rescue because you wanted a tax receipt, now is your chance. If you are unable to make the walk, but still wish to donate, please contact Jocelyn@russellrescue.org or call 416-266-4769. We are also looking for volunteers to help out with the JRT Rescue booth on Saturday as well as Sunday, if you would like to do that.

After the Walk-a-thon every year, the organizers send out stats to all the Rescue groups on the numbers of each breed that attended. For the last two years, Jack Russell Terriers have been at the very bottom of the list! Yes, we have been beaten by every other breed!!
