When I got home, I ran and ran and ran and ran...(infinity), inside and outside.
Jasper goes home
Jasper is big for a Jack. And rangy. After more than a year on the rocky road to finding a home, he is nervous, a pacer, but ready to play with any and all, big or small, cat, horse, dog or human. He is well behaved, well socialized. When he does duty as demo JRT at the All About Pets show, he is a fine ambassador for the breed.
Although applicants to adopt Jasper are carefully vetted to check they know that terriers need love, time and training, Jaspers first 3 homes do not work out; the people decide they do not have the time, or cannot deal with the training. In all this going from pillar to post, however, Jasper gains experience and loses none of his charm.

At last, Ally turns up. Ally has an equestrian centre in New Brunswick, and she wants a big Jack to help her run it. Jasper has a job and a home! Parting from his foster family is hard for them and his long drive home to NB is hard on him, but as they say in the movies, "Beginnings are scary" but Jasper has a lot of experience with beginnings. He deserves a "middle" where things work out.

His first letter sets our hearts at ease. All is very well indeed: Ally just loves him so much! Hes learning new stuff every day; he has full run of the barn, wanders around but checks back with her every few minutes. Hes learning how to behave around the horses, hes great with the kids that come for lessons, getting along with Eli and her cats and everybody loves him. Happy, happy ending for everyone.
Today mom actually sat on one of the big dogs (pictured), her name is India. She didnt seem to mind me. Mom chased me a little with her, and shooed me out of the arena. I was pretty good. Those big dogs actually BITE when you get too close! I think I will learn to stay away. However if I am really good, Mom says that I may learn to ride like my big brother!!!! Stay tuned for more pics!!
Mom wants to get a really spiffy pic of her and me ON India, so we will have to plan this. Mom is really busy in her role of Provincial Coaching Co-ordinator, and organizing summer camp, as well as regular lessons. However, she says that we will continue to co-respond with you guys, as we are both so grateful that you were able to put us together. We know how much you care. Thank you for saving me.
Night now.
